When and where can I participate?

Stick Together is delivered across Canada, with flexibility to align with local programs and seasonal conditions. Program availability may vary depending on the region and time of year. To find the nearest program in your area, visit the Program Finder.

To register, find the program best suited to you in the Program Finder and follow the link to the program’s registration page. It is recommended you make contact with the program provider with any questions.

Double check the start time and date of your first session, arrive early, dress appropriately for the weather conditions, stay hydrated, and remember to have fun!

If you have them, bring running shoes, shinpads, and a mouthguard. If not, your coach will provide them to you.

Yes, each program will have spare sticks, shoes, sin pads, and mouthguards. Contact your local program for any questions.

Most providers will allow you to join a free session before signing up. Contact your preferred program for details using the Program Finder.

What if I can’t find a program in my area?

If you cannot find a program near you, please Contact Us and we will help locate a program closest to you.

Field Hockey Canada invites all clubs, sports organizations, schools, and associations to become a Stick Together provider. For information about how to get started, visit of Provider Portal or Contact Us.

Yes! Parents are encouraged to assist on field or off the field in their child’s program. Contact your local program to learn more.

28 Inch = player height below 122cm (<4’)

30 Inch = player height 123cm – 128cm (4’-4’2”)

32 Inch = player height 129cm – 136cm (4’3”-4’6”)

34 Inch = player height 137cm and above (>4’6”)

Mouthguards are mandatory while playing field hockey. There are many types of mouthguards available for purchase.
